1. Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet Number one for the second month running, Shakespeare's most popular love story-come-tragedy is by far our most popular show this time around. It's part of the brilliant Kenneth Branagh Theatre Season and it's also helping theatreland celebrate the Bard's 400th anniversary, a potent combination that's filling the house night after night. This is a totally delightful production rich in legendary Shakespeare magic. Thank you, Mr Branagh.

2. Motown
Motown BBC Radio 4 featured Berry Gordy on its famous Desert Island Discs programme in May, which probably boosted ticket sales for this exceptional jukebox musical that's already entertained thousands of soul music lovers. My Gordy was a true gentleman and delivered some fascinating insights into a glittering career in the music business. Long may he live and prosper. The show he inspired is certainly pulling out all the stops, and it's number two for the second month running.

5. The Comedy About A Bank Robbery
The Comedy About A Bank Robbery Last month’s number 9, this one has shot up our chart this time around. British comedy continues to deliver in spades thanks to the latest in an hilarious series of eccentric productions from the highly respected Mischief Theatre Company. They created the multi-award-winning The Play that Goes Wrong as well as Peter Pan Goes Wrong, and the formula just keeps on giving. Why is it always so funny when things go pear-shaped? Come and see for yourself.

10. The Entertainer
The Entertainer Part of the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Season, this is the second Brahagh masterpiece to grace our chart for June. And it's been here for three months in a row, the sign of an exceptional piece of stage entertainment. John Osborne is the play's creator, it stars Branagh himself as Archie Rice, and theatre luminaries Jonah Hauer-King, John Hurt, Crispin Letts, Sophie Mcshera and Greta Scacchi make for an unforgettable event. And it isn't even on stage yet... August is the month, but we think it's wise to buy tickets now.

11. Jersey Boys
Jersey Boys Our show of the month with tickets up to 50% off, Jersey Boys is still making waves as a classic jukebox musical. It tells the story of Franki Valli and the Four Seasons, the sweet soul outfit that delighted a generation, whose songs are still played with great pleasure to this day. Stardom, however, isn't always easily won, and this gritty tale highlights the pitfalls faced by the band. Simply brilliant, well worth seeing.

12. The Play That Goes Wrong
The Play That Goes Wrong If you haven't booked tickets yet, our no booking fee offer continues. Last month's number four, this crazy comedy is having an excellent run and seems to have an endless appeal, no wonder when everything that can go wrong, does. When a hopelessly inept theatre company decides to put on a play, everything they touch fails to hilarious effect. And it's all down to Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, members of the excellent Mischief Theatre Company and the show's creators.
