Katherine Parkinson and Jack Wolfe among four new An Oak Tree guests

Katherine Parkinson, Jack Wolfe, Luca Pasqualino and Jamael Westman, the new guest actors in An Oak Tree Katherine Parkinson, Jack Wolfe, Luca Pasqualino and Jamael Westman are the latest actors to step into An Oak Tree cold, each joining Tim Crouch for one performance at The Other Palace before the run closes on 15 November.

Katherine Parkinson, a BAFTA winner for both The IT Crowd and Here We Go, will sit opposite Tim Crouch in An Oak Tree on 14 November, the day before the run at The Other Palace comes to an end. She is one of four names added to the guest list today by Francesca Moody Productions.

Jack Wolfe, who won a Critics' Circle Award as Gabe in Next to Normal at the Donmar Warehouse and Wyndham's Theatre, takes the matinee on 31 October. Luca Pasqualino, known to television audiences from Skins and Rivals, follows him that evening. Jamael Westman, whose stage credits include Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre and An Ideal Husband at the Lyric Hammersmith and Bristol Old Vic, plays the matinee on 7 November.

Wolfe also made his Broadway debut as Orpheus in Hadestown, while Parkinson earned an Olivier nomination for Home, I'm Darling and has written for the stage herself, with Sitting at the Arcola Theatre.

None of the four will have seen the script before they walk on. That is the premise of Crouch's play: each performance pairs him with a different actor who has neither read nor rehearsed it, so every night is built in front of the audience. Since its 2005 premiere, the piece has played in more than 19 countries and taken in over 350 guest performers.

The rest of the run also features the guests announced in earlier rounds, among them Mathew Baynton and Jack Holden, whose casting we reported earlier this month. The full schedule from here to closing:
