East High is moving to Wembley. A new trailer for Disney's High School Musical has been released ahead of the London transfer, led by McFly's Harry Judd as Coach Bolton and Disney favourite KayCee Stroh as Ms Darbus.

The show begins at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre on 12 October 2026, with press night on 20 October, and runs until 3 January 2027. It comes south after a limited summer season at Lowry in Salford.

Judd picks up the whistle from Jason Donovan, who played the coach in Salford, a handover announced in September. The four young leads make the move with the production: Tobias Turley as Troy Bolton, Leonor Correia as Gabriella Montez, Caitlin Tipping as Sharpay Evans and Luke Bayer as Ryan Evans.

Around them are Char Burnett as Taylor McKessie, Jordan Benjamin as Chad Danforth, Simeon Beckett as Zeke Baylor, Olivia O'Connor as Martha Cox, Yna Tresvalles as Kelsi Nielson and Curtis Patrick as Jack Scott. The ensemble is Alexander Black, Eleanor Bye, Harriet Caplan-Dean, Alison Driver, Conor Luke Drury, Mary Francis, Sonia Gil-Lubeiro, Tamsin January, Joseph Lennox, Lucas Morlotti, Katie Mulligan, André Phipps, Meg Silsby, Kade Stenson, Ethan Vijn and Eddie Zickerman.

The stage version marks 20 years since the film. David Simpatico wrote the book, and Bryan Louiselle adapted, arranged and produced the music. Hope Mill founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton direct together, with choreography by Aaron Renfree. The film's big numbers are all there, among them Breaking Free, We're All In This Together, Get'cha Head in the Game and Stick to the Status Quo.

Hope Mill Theatre and Chris Harper Productions produce in association with Lowry. The co-producers are Winkler & Smalberg, Catherine Schrieber, Drew & Dane Productions, Kevin & Kate McGrath, Merritt Baer, Marc Levine, Andrei Cotocu for Seabright Live and Michael Watt Productions.

Disney's High School Musical is booking now at the Wembley Park theatre on Fulton Road, HA9 0SP, with performances until 3 January 2027.
