In Pieces, the pop-scored musical by Joey Contreras, gets its first full staging at The Other Palace in 2027. Tickets for the opening week, 6-14 February, are on sale now.
In Pieces is coming to The Other Palace for its world premiere production in February 2027. Only the opening week is on sale so far, and no cast has been named yet.
It is the first time the show will be fully staged. Until now it has existed as a concert piece. There were sold-out concerts at The Other Palace and at Joe's Pub in New York, then a staged concert version in 2026. A filmed concert has been bought 20,000 times in 151 countries and viewed more than 100,000 times, and a deluxe highlights album on Broadway Records has passed 70 million streams.
Martha Geelan returns as director. Sam Wilson Freeman choreographs and Brian Russell Carey is music supervisor; Carey also shares the orchestrations with Contreras. Casting is by Harry Blumenau CDG CSA.
Contreras, a Fred Ebb Award and Jonathan Larson Grant finalist, wrote both the words and the music. His story follows six characters through three stages of their lives, as old hurts and unfinished feelings between friends, family and lovers resurface, all set to a score driven by pop. The show's own line for it: "a love story about the people you don't end up with."
"This is a huge day for In Pieces as we enter into the next stage of the show’s journey with the world premiere of our fully realised production," said Contreras. "I can’t wait to share this world premiere production with audiences in London next year, with more exciting news to come."
The production is presented by Andrew Patino and Jacob Stuckelman of Regular People and Rebecca Gwyther of RJG Productions. Patino and Gwyther said: "It’s remarkable to see people from all over the world fall in love with the musical long before it reached the stage. We’re thrilled to finally bring a world premiere production to London, giving our fans the opportunity to see it live and inviting a whole new audience to discover the musical for the first time."
Performances from 6-14 February 2027 are booking now at The Other Palace, 12 Palace Street, London SW1E 5JA.
