Titanique gives its final West End performance at the Criterion Theatre on Sunday 3 January 2027. Myra DuBois then takes Ruth on the road, as the musical's first UK tour opens at Theatre Royal Newcastle in September 2027.
The Céline Dion musical comedy now has a closing date. Titanique ends its run at the Criterion Theatre on Sunday 3 January 2027, two years after it opened there in January 2025.
A first UK tour comes next. It starts at Theatre Royal Newcastle, where the show plays from Friday 17 to Saturday 25 September 2027, with Myra DuBois as Ruth. The remaining tour dates and the rest of the touring company will be confirmed later.
London gets one more change of Ruth first. DuBois stays in the role until Sunday 8 November 2026, the date set when she extended her Criterion run earlier this month. William Hanson returns to the part from Tuesday 10 November 2026 and plays it through to closing night, the final eight weeks. He previously played Ruth for a seven-week stint in the West End.
Two sets of dates to note if you are booking for a particular Ruth: DuBois is not scheduled to appear on 14 and 15 October, and Hanson is off on 20-22 November and 5 December 2026.

DuBois said: “I’ve adored playing Ruth in the West End, how thrilling to get to spend a few more months with her around the country in this screamingly hilarious show!”
Around Ruth, the current London company has Ailsa Davidson as Rose, Freddie King as Jack, Cameron Vear as Cal, Astrid Harris as Céline Dion, Lewis Francis as The Iceberg, Nikki Wheeldon as Molly Brown and Michael Vinsen as Victor Garber / Luigi. AJ Lewis, Joi Lurrie and Sophie-Rose Middleton sing background vocals on stage, and Finton Flynn, Josh Lovell and Charlotte Soo are the offstage understudies.
The show retells the Titanic story through Céline Dion's songbook, among them My Heart Will Go On and All by Myself, with a live band. Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli wrote it, Blue directs and Ellenore Scott choreographs. It started Off-Broadway at Asylum Theater in June 2022, reached Broadway at the St. James Theatre in March 2026 and picked up four Tony nominations there. The London production won two Olivier Awards from three nominations: Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play, and Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for Layton Williams.
