General sale opens on 18 November.

The Greatest Showman has its West End dates. Disney's stage version of the 2017 film starts previews at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Wednesday 14 April 2027, and tickets go on general sale at 12pm on Wednesday 18 November.

Oliver Tompsett and Samantha Barks return as P.T. Barnum and his wife Charity Barnum, the parts they took when the musical premiered at the Bristol Hippodrome earlier this year. Ben Joyce joins them as Phillip Carlyle, Vajèn van den Bosch plays the singer Jenny Lind and Malinda Parris is Lettie Lutz. More casting is still to come.

Opening night is Wednesday 5 May at 7pm, after three weeks of previews, and the run is booking to 2 October 2027. Priority booking opens on 3 November ahead of the public on-sale, though the priority access list has already closed. Once the show has opened, it plays Monday to Saturday at 7pm, with 2pm matinees on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Worth knowing if you are booking for a particular performer: from Monday 10 May, Tompsett will not play Barnum at Monday performances, and van den Bosch will be off as Jenny Lind on alternate Mondays.

The score comes from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who wrote the film's songs, This Is Me and A Million Dreams among them. Tim Federle has written the book from a story by Jenny Bicks, and Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs. Alex Lacamoire is in charge of music supervision, orchestrations and dance music arrangements, while Justin Paul also takes the vocal and incidental arrangements.

On the design side, David Korins does the sets, Gregg Barnes and Sky Switser the costumes, Natasha Katz the lighting, Peter Hylenski the sound and George Reeve the video. The circus is created and designed by Lorenzo Pisoni, with illusions and magic by Skylar Fox and special effects by Jeremy Chernick. Josh Marquette designs hair and wigs and Milagros Medina-Cerdeira the make-up. Natalie Gallacher casts for Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher Casting, Keston & Keston are children's casting director and general manager, and The 7 Fingers handle acrobat casting.

Disney Theatrical Group is the lead producer, with The Seelig Group, producer of the original film. It is the first 20th Century Studios title Disney Theatrical Group has adapted for the stage.

We first reported the Drury Lane transfer in August, and the company is also on the bill for this year's Royal Variety Performance.

Tickets for The Greatest Showman at Theatre Royal Drury Lane go on general sale on 18 November 2026, ahead of previews from 14 April 2027.
