Paranormal Activity has extended its West End run for the sixth time. The new closing date at the Ambassadors Theatre is Saturday 27 February 2027, and tickets for the added weeks are on sale now.

There is a late show for Halloween as well. On Saturday 31 October a 10.30pm performance joins the two already scheduled that day, at 2.30pm and 7pm, which makes it a three-show day.

One change to the weekly schedule is worth knowing before you book. From the week commencing 4 January 2027, the weekday matinee moves to Thursdays at 2.30pm. The current pattern is matinees on Fridays and Saturdays at 2.30pm and evening performances Monday to Friday at 7.30pm.

The current company is led by Ty Fanning as James, in his West End debut after playing Broadway in Othello opposite Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, and Ami Okumura Jones as Lou. She created the role of Satsuki in the RSC's My Neighbour Totoro, from the Barbican through to the Gillian Lynne Theatre. Kirsty Bushell plays Etheline Cotgrave, and Pippa Winslow returns as Carolanne, the part she played at Leeds Playhouse and in the first West End season.

The plot is new rather than a version of any one film. James and Lou leave Chicago for London to get away from their past, and find that what haunts them has made the move too. Levi Holloway, whose Grey House played Broadway in 2023, wrote the script. Felix Barrett, founder and artistic director of Punchdrunk, directs.

Design is by Fly Davis (set and costumes), with illusions by Chris Fisher, lighting by Anna Watson, sound by Gareth Fry and video by Luke Halls. Casting is by Stuart Burt CDG and Ginny Schiller CDG, and Anna Marshall is associate director. Simon Friend and Hanna Osmolska produce for Melting Pot. The show is recommended for ages 15 and over.

London is not the only stage it is on. The production began a 20-week Broadway season at the August Wilson Theatre on 14 August 2026, and a UK and Ireland tour opened at Richmond Theatre in early September. We ran the first production photos from the tour last month, shortly after the fifth London extension.

Paranormal Activity is booking at the Ambassadors Theatre on West Street until Saturday 27 February 2027, including the extra 10.30pm show on Saturday 31 October.
