Moulin Rouge! The Musical is turning five in the West End, and it is marking the occasion with the kind of gesture that tends to go down well: a single performance at which every ticket is £25, booking fee included.
The fan performance is at the Piccadilly Theatre at 7pm on Wednesday 11 November 2026. The flat £25 applies across the house, which is the point of it - the best seats go for the same money as the cheapest.
How to get one
Booking is not general. Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday 18 September, and only to people already signed up to the show’s own mailing list, who receive a booking link. Anyone not on that list needs to have joined before midnight on Thursday 17 September to be included. With one performance and a flat price, they are unlikely to last.
The anniversary is a double one. The production has been in the West End for five years, and 2026 is twenty-five years since Baz Luhrmann’s film reached Cannes.
Who is in it
From Monday 12 October the cast is led by Karis Anderson as Satine and Alistair Brammer as Christian, with James Doherty as Harold Zidler, Daniel Fraser as The Duke, Richard Lloyd King as Toulouse-Lautrec, Ivan De Freitas as Santiago, Lindsey Tierney as Nini, Nick Len as Baby Doll, Billie-Kay as Arabia, Athena Collins as La Chocolat and Angela Marie Hurst as alternate Satine. The production is directed by Alex Timbers, with a book by John Logan, choreography by Sonya Tayeh and music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Justin Levine. Sets are by Derek McLane, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Justin Townsend and sound by Peter Hylenski.
Beyond London, the show is running a world tour, with productions opening in Hamburg in November 2026 and returning to Sydney in March 2027.
