Marc Brenner’s first pictures of Hay Fever in performance have been released, with Christine Baranski and Richard E. Grant leading Noël Coward’s comedy at Wyndham’s Theatre until 12 December 2026.
The first production photographs from Hay Fever were released today, taken by Marc Brenner at Wyndham’s Theatre, where Noël Coward’s comedy runs for a strictly limited season until 12 December 2026.
Christine Baranski plays Judith Bliss and Richard E. Grant plays David Bliss. The pictures are also the first clear view of Frankie Bradshaw’s set, a papered drawing room with a staircase and a wall of garden windows, after the rehearsal-room images released in August showed the company at work in street clothes.
Around the Blisses, Nancy Carroll is Myra Arundel, Will Close is Simon Bliss, Charles Edwards is Richard Greatham, Ophelia Lovibond is Sorel Bliss, Ash Hunter is Sandy Tyrell, Lucy Karczewski is Jackie Coryton and Jo McInnes is Clara. The company is completed by Helena Antoniou, Charlotte Avery, Alan Drake and Shaun Mendum.
Emily Burns directs, with set and costume design by Frankie Bradshaw, lighting by Oliver Fenwick and sound by Tingying Dong. Bethan Clark is fight and intimacy director, Danièle Lydon is dialect coach and Blythe Stewart is associate director, with casting by Jim Carnahan CSA and Liz Fraser CSA. The production is presented by Wessex Grove and Gavin Kalin Productions.
