English National Opera has set out its autumn at the London Coliseum, and it opens with a West End transfer. Angel's Bone runs 16-31 October 2026, followed by a new production of Tosca from 30 October to 11 December 2026.

Angel's Bone won the Pulitzer Prize for Music and had its UK premiere in Manchester this spring. It turns on Mr and Mrs X.E., a couple who find two wounded angels in their garden and take them in; what looks at first like compassion becomes something closer to captivity, and the piece is direct about the human trafficking and modern slavery it is drawing on. The production is directed by Kip Williams, whose Dracula starring Cynthia Erivo played the Noël Coward Theatre.

Tosca is a reimagining of Puccini's opera rather than a revival of an existing staging. It moves the action to a concert hall in an unnamed European state in the middle of civil conflict, where the singer Floria Tosca arranges to meet her lover, the painter Mario Cavaradossi. The police chief Scarpia intervenes, and the hall becomes a place of fear. Annilese Miskimmon, ENO's Artistic Director, directs; Ben Glassberg conducts; and Grammy Award-winning soprano Axelle Fanyo sings the title role.

Both run under ENO's under-21s and under-35s schemes, which apply to every ENO opera at the Coliseum. Tickets are free for anyone under 21 and heavily discounted for 21 to 35-year-olds, in any part of the house and subject to availability.

Before the opera begins, Now You See Me Live plays its final Coliseum performance on 6 September 2026 and then transfers to Las Vegas. We published first-look images from the illusion show earlier this month.

Both productions are booking now at the London Coliseum: Angel's Bone from 16-31 October 2026, and Tosca from 30 October - 11 December 2026.
