Tickets start at £8.50 for Wolf Country, Elizabeth Godber's new comedy for The John Godber Company, at Wilton's Music Hall from Monday 25 to Wednesday 27 January 2027.
The play is set in a small Yorkshire town and centres on two best friends who like their lives exactly as they are: Alice, a devoted country-music fan, and Eddy, a no-nonsense nurse. Then talk of a werewolf on the loose starts doing the rounds. Eddy has no time for the rumours. Alice falls for them completely, especially once she meets Connor, who calls himself a werewolf expert. Halloween is close and the moon is full.
Jane Thornton directs, and the evening is underscored with country and western music. Godber's earlier work includes The Comedy of Errors (More or Less), which was nominated for a UK Theatre Award, while the company behind the production is known for Bouncers and Do I Love You?
Full-price seats run from £8.50 to £25, with concessions from £6 to £22.50. The running time is 1 hour 45 minutes, including an interval. It is booking now at Wilton's Music Hall.
Wolf Country is one of the January openers in Wilton's spring 2027 season.
