FlawBored, the disability-led company behind It’s a Motherf**king Pleasure, bring What’s The F**king Point? to the Maria at the Young Vic from 2-24 April 2027.
The London premiere of What’s The F**king Point? has been booked into the Maria at the Young Vic from 2-24 April 2027, with press night on 6 April. It is one of four productions announced today to complete the theatre’s 2026/27 season, and it is the second show from FlawBored, the multi award-winning disability-led company whose first, It’s a Motherf**king Pleasure, sold out in Edinburgh and toured to the Southbank Centre, Soho Theatre, Bristol Old Vic, Leeds Playhouse and Brighton Dome, and then to Oslo, New York, Washington DC and Boston.
The premise is deadpan. Matteen’s disability is reclassified overnight. Julia is handed a diagnosis she never asked for. Beth decides she deserves one too. Three friends and one useless doctor then disappear into medical bureaucracy, identity politics and what the company calls the desperate human need to feel significant.
It is written by Samuel Brewer, Aarian Mehrabani, Chloe Palmer and Josh Roche, who also directs, and produced by Hannah Smith. Brewer, Mehrabani and Palmer co-founded FlawBored, and the show won an Unlimited UK Open Award in 2024. Every performance carries integrated audio description.
Booking opens at 11am on 1 October for Patrons+, with Good Friends from 5 October and Friends from 6 October, and general booking from 11am on 7 October. What’s The F**king Point? runs in the Maria at the Young Vic from 2-24 April 2027.
