Atlantic Records will issue physical editions of the The Lost Boys cast album on 30 October, on CD and double vinyl. Pre-orders opened today; the recording is already streaming.
Atlantic Records has opened pre-orders for physical editions of The Lost Boys (Original Broadway Cast Recording). The CD and a 2LP pressing on black and red vinyl arrive on 30 October 2026. The album has been on the streaming services since earlier this year.
The score is by The Rescues — Kyler England, AG and Gabriel Mann — who were nominated twice at the 2026 Tony Awards for the show's music and lyrics. They produced the recording with Ethan Popp. Ian Kagey recorded it and Richard Furch mixed it. The running order includes the singles Secret Comes Out, Now, Forever, Superpower and If We Make It Through the Night.
A studio performance of If We Make It Through the Night was filmed and is on YouTube, where it can be watched in full.
The musical took four Tony Awards this year: featured actress in a musical for Shoshana Bean, featured actor for Ali Louis Bourzgui, scenic design for Dane Laffrey, and lighting design for Michael Arden and Jen Schriever. It opened at the Palace Theatre on Broadway on 26 April 2026.
The show is adapted from the 1987 Warner Bros. film, and follows a mother and her two teenage sons who move to a coastal town where people have been going missing. Michael Arden directs, from a book by David Hornsby and Chris Hoch, with choreography and aerial choreography by Lauren Yalango-Grant and Christopher Cree Grant.
The release continues a long run of Broadway cast albums for Atlantic, whose catalogue includes Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Jagged Little Pill, The Notebook and Suffs.
A North American tour is booked to open in spring 2028 at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio, with further cities to follow. Pre-orders for the CD and vinyl are open now.
