Little Lord Fondleroy, Best Show at the Bitesize Festival, comes to Riverside Studios

Jordana Belaiche as Little Lord Fondleroy, arm outstretched, in blue velvet and a lace collar Jordana Belaiche’s solo comedy Little Lord Fondleroy, named Best Show at the Bitesize Festival 2026, runs for three nights at Riverside Studios from 3 to 5 November.

Blond ringlets. A lace collar as wide as the shoulders. A suit of deep blue velvet. The photographs of Little Lord Fondleroy show a picture-book angel before a word is spoken. The show is about what that angel gets up to.

Jordana Belaiche wrote the hour-long solo comedy and performs it. It took Best Show at the Bitesize Festival 2026 and now runs at Riverside Studios from Tuesday 3 to Thursday 5 November 2026.

The curls and the faultless manners are cover. Behind them, Fondleroy craves poetry, pleasure, head boys and total theatrical chaos. The action unfolds at Flippitts Darstardly Boarding School for Badly Behaved Boys, where prefects and masters run a regime of cruelty and forbidden longings flourish regardless. Along the way the show asks how much of masculinity, and of Empire, was held together by the cane and by desire nobody was permitted to admit.

It is recommended for ages 16 and over, and tickets start at £10. It is the earliest of the eight productions in the Riverside Studios winter season.
