Rufus Hound, Vikki Stone, Danielle Steers and Ginger Johnson are among ten one-night guest stars lined up for Dick Whittington: Adults Only, the King’s Head Theatre’s grown-up pantomime this Christmas.
Rufus Hound, Vikki Stone, Danielle Steers and Ginger Johnson are among the special guests who will each join Dick Whittington: Adults Only for a single night at the King’s Head Theatre in Islington. Every performance of the 18+ pantomime, which runs from 26 November 2026 to 2 January 2027, features a different guest drawn from comedy, musical theatre, drag and television, and the theatre says more names will follow.
The first ten guests, night by night:
- 26 November: Sooz Kempner, a Variety Award winner at the Funny Women Awards
- 27 November (press night): Kate Butch, from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Wuthering Shites
- 28 November: Danielle Steers, whose credits include SIX and Hot Mess
- 3 December: Ginger Johnson, from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Angels of the North
- 5 December: Adam All, named Drag Artist of the Year by PinkNews
- 11 December: Lauren Samuels, whose credits include The Last Ship and Wicked
- 16 December: Don One, from Late Night Lycett and Death Drop the Play
- 27 December: Rodney Vubya, whose credits include Titanique and Frozen
- 30 December: Vikki Stone, known for Hey Duggee and the #ZoologicalSociety musical
- 2 January: Rufus Hound, whose credits include The Other Side of Murder and The Mesmerist
Whoever is on the bill that night joins the regular company, which we reported in full in October. Joseph Vella plays the title role, with Victoria Scone as Dragpuss, River Medway as Queen Rat, Patricia Wilkins as Alice Fitzgerald, Sé Carr, better known as drag king Jamie Fuxx, as Ding-Dong/Elvis Pawsley, and Ash Weir as Anne Semble.
Writer and director Andrew Pollard, named Best Writer at the 2026 UK Pantomime Awards, said: “The adult panto, this year, promises to be better - and naughtier - than ever, featuring in the main cast, not only two amazing drag queens but also a drag king! Add our special guest stars into this mix - headline entertainers from the worlds of drag and the west end - and you’re in for a festive feast of filthy fun! Oh, yes, you are!”
Pollard also writes and directs the family version, Dick Whittington and His Cat, which plays without guests from 22 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. Both runs include Pay What You Can performances, with tickets from £15.
Dick Whittington: Adults Only runs at the King’s Head Theatre, 116P Upper Street, from 26 November 2026 to 2 January 2027, with its press performance on Friday 27 November at 7pm.
