Blood Brothers, Twelve Angry Men and The Turn of the Screw head to New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion in 2027

The Floral Pavilion theatre in New Brighton, Wirral, seen from the street Blood Brothers, Twelve Angry Men and a new stage version of The Turn of the Screw are all heading to the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton between February and March 2027.

The Floral Pavilion has named its next batch of shows, and three touring plays and musicals sit at the top of the list. Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers comes first, from 9-13 February 2027. We ran the first production images from the current tour last month.

A new adaptation of The Turn of the Screw follows from 25-27 February. It is a fresh take on the Henry James ghost story, and the venue promises something chilling. Then Twelve Angry Men arrives from 16-20 March. The courtroom thriller comes to the Wirral after record-breaking seasons in the West End.

Panto fans get two more dates. The award-winning Chrysanthemums bring their annual pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, from 7-10 January 2027. For adults only, Tinderella is in for one night on 24 February, billed by its makers as “the naughtiest adult panto to ever hit the stage”.

Around the theatre, the programme fills out with concerts, tribute nights, comedy and family events, running from a Halloween concert on 27 October to an evening with Dead Ringers star Jon Culshaw on 20 February.

The new titles join shows announced earlier for the season, among them The Last Laugh, The Mousetrap and the Christmas pantomime Aladdin. Our earlier report on the Floral Pavilion’s autumn season has the detail on those.

Pauline Campbell, the Floral Pavilion’s Venue Manager, said: “We’ve got a fantastic season ahead at the Floral Pavilion, with an incredible variety of shows for audiences of all ages. From theatre and live music through to comedy, family entertainment, tribute shows and some brilliant one-night events, there really is something for everyone.”

The 814-seat Floral Pavilion is one of the Wirral’s leading live entertainment venues. Alongside national touring theatre, comedy, music and dance, it stages its own pantomime every year.
