The company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre. Photo by Manuel Harlan The one-part Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now booking to Sunday 5 September 2027 at the Palace Theatre, with more than 110,000 extra tickets released. The first production photos of its new company are out as well.

The reimagined one-part Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has moved its booking period out to Sunday 5 September 2027. The new block puts more than 110,000 tickets on sale at the Palace Theatre.

The single-performance version began on Friday 9 October 2026. When its first cast was announced in September, it was booking to Sunday 27 June 2027. Today's release adds another ten weeks.

The photographs, by Manuel Harlan, are the first to show the new company on stage. Ethan Rouse plays Albus Potter and Bill Stanley plays Scorpius Malfoy. Zoë Rainey is Ginny Potter, Hasia Akwaboah is Rose Granger-Weasley and Adam Jackson-Smith is Draco Malfoy. Three principals continue: David Ricardo-Pearce as Harry Potter, Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley and Naana Agyei Ampadu as Hermione Granger.

The wider company is Dewayne Jameson Adams, David Annen, Jacqueline Beaumont, Jensen Bedford, Angeline Bell, Tatum Confrey, Robert Curtis, Nick Dennington, Shakhai Estwick, Miah Hasselbaink, Tim Hibberd, Becky Hoyle, Max Hutchinson, Danny Ivy, Emma Louise Jones, Laura June Ness, Louise Ludgate, Shreya Lallu, Nathan Muwowo, Jocelyn Prah, Claire Redcliffe, Ewan Rutherford, Joshua Talbot, Nathaniel Tan, Callum Tempest, Alex Tomkins, Jake Tuesley and Aidan Garrett Wilkins.

The play joins Harry, Ron and Hermione 19 years after they saved the wizarding world, as their children start at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. What follows is a race through time and a fight against forces nobody can quite name, with the future at stake.

The whole story is now told in one sitting. Performances run Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7pm, Wednesday and Saturday at 1pm and 7pm, and Sunday at 2.30pm.

The schedule changes over Christmas and New Year:

  • Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 December 2026: 1pm and 7pm
  • Thursday 24 December 2026: 1pm
  • Sunday 27 December 2026: 1pm and 7pm
  • Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 December 2026: 1pm and 7pm
  • Thursday 31 December 2026: 1pm
  • Friday 1 January 2027: 5pm
  • Saturday 2 January 2027: 1pm and 7pm
  • Sunday 3 January 2027: 2.30pm

Four access performances are on sale, all at 2.30pm: British Sign Language performances on Sunday 17 January 2027 and Sunday 9 May 2027, and captioned performances on Sunday 31 January 2027 and Sunday 16 May 2027.

The London production first opened at the Palace in 2016. More than 2.5 million people have seen it there, over 300,000 of them on their first trip to the theatre, and worldwide audiences have passed 14 million. Its 60 major awards include six Tonys and nine Laurence Olivier Awards, the most ever won by a play. Productions are also running in New York, Tokyo and the Netherlands, and on a North American tour.

Jack Thorne wrote the play from an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, and John Tiffany directs. Movement is by Steven Hoggett, set by Christine Jones, costumes by Katrina Lindsay, music and arrangements by Imogen Heap, lighting by Neil Austin and sound by Gareth Fry. Jamie Harrison designs the illusions and magic, Martin Lowe supervises and arranges the music, and casting is by Julia Horan CDG and Lotte Hines CDG. The producers are Sonia Friedman Productions, Colin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions.

Tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre start at £25.
