Harriet Scott, Tom Price, Kat Shoob and Jordan Lee were in the audience for the first London performance of Disney's High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, and stayed on afterwards to be photographed on the set with Harry Judd.
The four Bauer presenters lined up with Judd on the show's basketball-court floor after the performance on Monday 12 October, in pictures taken by Danny Kaan. Their visit came on the same day the production released its first photographs from the Wembley staging.
Judd, the McFly drummer, plays Coach Bolton in London. The role belonged to Jason Donovan when Disney's High School Musical began at Lowry in Salford, where it ran from 22 August to 19 September before the move south. It is the first UK production of the stage musical that is not a replica of an earlier staging, and it arrives in the year the Disney Channel film turns 20.
Around Judd, KayCee Stroh plays Ms Darbus, Tobias Turley is Troy Bolton and Leonor Correia is Gabriella Montez, with Caitlin Tipping and Luke Bayer as the siblings Sharpay and Ryan Evans. Char Burnett (Taylor McKessie), Jordan Benjamin (Chad Danforth), Simeon Beckett (Zeke Baylor), Olivia O'Connor (Martha Cox), Yna Tresvalles (Kelsi Nielson) and Curtis Patrick (Jack Scott) fill out the East High roster.
The ensemble is Alexander Black, Eleanor Bye, Harriet Caplan-Dean, Alison Driver, Conor Luke Drury, Mary Francis, Sonia Gil-Lubeiro, Tamsin January, Joseph Lennox, Lucas Morlotti, Katie Mulligan, André Phipps, Meg Silsby, Kade Stenson, Ethan Vijn and Eddie Zickerman.
The two founders of Hope Mill Theatre, Joseph Houston and William Whelton, share the direction, and Aaron Renfree choreographs. David Simpatico wrote the book, while Bryan Louiselle adapted, arranged and produced the score, which takes in Breaking Free, We're All In This Together, Get'cha Head in the Game and Stick to the Status Quo.
Hope Mill Theatre and Chris Harper Productions present the show in association with Lowry. The co-producers are Winkler & Smalberg, Catherine Schrieber, Drew & Dane Productions, Kevin & Kate McGrath, Merritt Baer, Marc Levine, Andrei Cotocu for Seabright Live and Michael Watt Productions.
Disney's High School Musical runs at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre until Sunday 3 January 2027, with press night on Tuesday 20 October 2026.
