Honor Santa Barnes's one-woman dark comedy Florence is coming to Park90 at Park Theatre for a single week in November, following its runs at The Other Palace and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Florence plays Park90, the studio space at Park Theatre in Finsbury Park, from 16-21 November 2026. The run is strictly limited to six days.
Honor Santa Barnes wrote the piece and performs it alone. El Blackwood returns as director and dramaturg, with set design by Ellie Wintour and music by Sarah Spencer. Band of Sisters Theatre presents the production in association with Park Theatre.
The play is a satire set in the art world. A young woman desperate to get ahead reinvents herself as Florence, a polished, well-connected alter ego who talks her way into an exclusive social set and then into a job at a smart gallery. The dealing she finds there is as fake as she is. As the performance hardens, the question becomes whether Florence is a disguise at all, or a side of herself she can no longer put away.
The show arrives after dates at The Other Palace and in Edinburgh, where The National called it "the best show at this year's Fringe" in a five-star review.
Barnes said: "Since debuting the show at The Other Palace, Florence has received such a warm response and I'm thrilled that we are bringing this deeply resonant and timely work to the Park Theatre this November. Collaborating again with El and the wider creative team is a joy - their skill and ambition for this project is something I'm thankful for and I cannot wait to discover this play anew."
Performances are Monday to Saturday at 7pm, with 4pm matinees on Thursday and Saturday. Tickets start at £15 and the show is recommended for ages 14+.
