Photo by Jonathan Hordle Cirque Berserk! opened at the Garrick Theatre on Wednesday 21 October, and the first production photos are here. It is a short half-term stay: the last performance is on Saturday 31 October.

Cirque Berserk! opened its new production at the Garrick Theatre on Wednesday 21 October, and photographer Jonathan Hordle was in to shoot the acts in performance.

The pictures cover a handful of the line-up. Motorcyclists circle inside the steel mesh of the Globe of Death, the headline stunt of the evening. The Show Jokers perform in suits wired with LED light. A hand-balancing duo hold their shapes on a raised platform, and an aerialist hangs head-down from a pole high above the stage.

The staging is new, directed by Matt Page, with choreography by Mike Denman and lighting and sound design by Robbie Lopusni. World of Clowns Ltd presents. The company numbers more than thirty acrobats, aerialists and stunt riders, with familiar Cirque Berserk! acts sharing the bill with new ones.

We reported the return to the Garrick back in July. The dates were set around the October half term, and children aged 15 and under pay half price in every band except Band D, subject to availability. Tickets start at £25, and the show is recommended for ages 5 and up.

From Monday 26 to Friday 30 October there are two performances a day, at 3pm and 7pm. The closing Saturday has three, at 1pm, 4pm and 7.30pm.

Cirque Berserk! runs at the Garrick Theatre, 2 Charing Cross Road, until Saturday 31 October 2026.
