David Bowie: You're Not Alone has added three more months at Lightroom in King's Cross and is now booking until 10 April 2027.
David Bowie: You're Not Alone will now run at Lightroom, King's Cross, until 10 April 2027. The new dates go on top of a run that opened on 22 April 2026 and had been set to finish in January.
Tickets for the extra weeks are on sale now. Adults pay from £25, and students and under-18s from £15. Showings start every half hour, last about an hour and are suitable for all ages.
David Bowie is the only voice in the room. The show draws on thousands of hours of film held by the David Bowie Archive in New York: concert footage, interviews, photographs, drawings, lyrics and personal notes, much of it never shown in public before. It plays across Lightroom's 11-metre projected walls and floor, and moves by theme rather than by date, from Space Oddity and Diamond Dogs through "Heroes" to Blackstar.
Lightroom produces, with design by the studio 59. Mark Grimmer, who was creative director of the V&A exhibition David Bowie Is, directs alongside Tom Wexler. Olivier and Tony winner Gareth Fry has reworked every track for the venue's HOLOPLOT spatial sound system.
The longer run also takes in what would have been Bowie's 80th birthday. Lightroom is marking 8 January 2027 with Bowie Lates, an after-hours showing with themed cocktails and a guest DJ in the foyer bar, and visitors are encouraged to turn up in their best Bowie-inspired outfit.
Tickets for David Bowie: You're Not Alone at Lightroom, 12 Lewis Cubitt Square, are available now for dates until 10 April 2027.
