Maybe Happy Ending is already an epic Broadway musical sensation. It's set in the city of Seoul, South Korea's capital, in the near future. The plot follows two old-fashioned helper robots who find out what friendship and love really mean. It's a touchingly human story about a coincidental meeting, a strong connection, and a highly unusual adventure as the robots, Oliver and Claire, forge an ever-deeper bond.
The show was the winner of 2025's Tony Award for Best Musical, along with five other Tonys, including Best Book and Best Score. The Book, Music, and Lyrics are by Will Aronson and Hue Park, with Direction on Broadway from Michael Arden.
Some say the show is all set for a transfer to the UK capital. If so, it'll be a hugely popular West End Musical, a show with an excellent pedigree and a great reputation.
