The movie was an instant smash and quickly became a cult classic. The 2024 Broadway musical directed by Tony Award-winning Christopher Gattelli, with a book by Marco Pennette, and music and lyrics by Julia Mattison and Noel Carey, was a blast. Now it's in the capital to deliver oodles of hilarious spine-tingling horror to audiences, a story that never grows old. Great original songs, a plot to die for, and dazzlingly witty dialogue make it extra-special.
Director Christopher Gattelli has also choreographed the musical. There's scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Paul Tazewell, lighting design by Justin Townsend, sound design by Peter Hylenski, hair and wig design by Charles LaPointe, and make-up design by Joe Dulude II.
