New Cast Announced for Matilda The Musical as West End Smash Celebrates 15 Years

The Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical — one of the most beloved musicals in West End history — has announced a wave of exciting new casting as it continues to delight audiences at the Cambridge Theatre in its landmark 15th year.
Joining the production are Matt Corner as the gloriously ghastly Mr Wormwood, Amy Ross as the fabulously self-obsessed Mrs Wormwood, and Lucy St. Louis as the warm-hearted Miss Honey. Lucy St. Louis takes over from Eve Norris in January 2027, with Eve continuing in the role until 17 January. Jon Robyns remains in the production as the terrifying Miss Trunchbull.
Four talented young performers will share the title role of Matilda from 15 September 2026: Lola Judd, Scarlett Lindsey and Sachie Sheridan join existing performer Sithuni Gamage in bringing the extraordinary little girl to life on stage.
A brand new ensemble also joins the company, with Molly Cleere, Pedr Davies, Will Haswell, Karina Hind, Leyton Holmes, Joshua Lear, Stephanie Lindo, Stephen Murray, Ashley Rowe and Charlotte-Kate Warren all taking their places alongside the continuing ensemble of Alex Louize Bird, Antony Lawrence, Tania Mathurin, Stuart Rouse, Millie Brown-Thornton and Callum Train.
Now seen by 13 million people in over 100 cities worldwide, Matilda The Musical stands as the 10th longest running musical in West End history — and it's easy to see why. With 101 international awards to its name, including 25 for Best Musical, this anarchic, joyous production shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
The show is also currently on a major UK and Ireland tour, which opened at Leicester Curve in October 2025 and runs through until January 2027 — so wherever you are in the country, there's never been a better time to experience the magic.
