Corpse, Kirsty Mann's account of a haunting based on a true story, will run at Soho Theatre from 2 to 13 February 2027 following its world premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

It is a solo piece that tells the story of a haunting, based on real events. A young couple buy their dream home at a price low enough to raise questions, dismiss the warning signs, and then watch the strange occurrences escalate. The show moves between comedy, campfire storytelling and horror.
Kirsty Mann is a doctor as well as a performer, and the show draws on that perspective. It was first shown as a work in progress at Summerhall in 2025, then developed and staged at Adelaide Fringe in early 2026, where it won the award for Best Theatre. Its fully realised world premiere ran at Summerhall during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August.
Kirsty Mann said: "I didn't believe in ghosts... I do now. I love telling people this wild story. They laugh. They scream. They approach me to ask questions after."
The Edinburgh run drew five-star reviews from Theatre Weekly, The List and Binge Fringe, and four stars from The Scotsman and The Stage. In Australia, The Fourth Wall described it as The Woman in Black meets Catherine Tate.
The production is for ages 18 and over. Content warnings cover flashing lights, loud noises, themes of death and water-based haze.
