Production photographs have been released for Holy Fool, the Shostakovich play now running at Park Theatre, which has added two more Carducci Quartet concerts alongside the run.
Park Theatre has released Mark Douet’s production photographs for Holy Fool, the world premiere now playing in Finsbury Park until Saturday 10 October 2026. Two further Shostakovich concerts have also been added alongside the run.
Benjamin O’Mahony plays Dmitri Shostakovich in Rosalind Adler and Lea Sellers’s play about the composer working under Stalin, with Jenna Augen as Nina, Phoebe Pryce as Katya and Fergus O’Donnell as Izaak. Kate Fahy directs, with design by Will Fricker, lighting by Oliver Fenwick and sound by Julian Starr.
The Carducci Quartet’s Shostakovich in Seven Parts, a 45-minute run through seven moments from the composer’s fifteen string quartets, was announced with two dates. Two more have now been scheduled, subject to demand: Saturday 19 September and Thursday 8 October, joining Saturday 12 September and Friday 25 September. All are at 6pm in Park200 and cost £15.

The quartet — Matthew Denton and Michelle Fleming on violin, Eoin Schmidt-Martin on viola and Emma Denton on cello — won a Royal Philharmonic Society Award in 2016 for a global cycle of the quartets that included playing all fifteen in a single day at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Holy Fool runs at the Park Theatre, Clifton Terrace, Finsbury Park, until Saturday 10 October 2026, Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm with Thursday and Saturday matinees at 3pm. Age guidance is 11 and over.
