Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4 description
Park Theatre's riotous improv Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] is back, starring Ian McKellan.
Make your way to the Wild West courtesy of the latest return of Park Theatre's hit fundraiser Whodunnit [Unrehearsed]. Expect a feast of murder, mayhem and musical mischief in the team's most ambitious production so far.
A gang of actor-musicians and a cowboy-style saloon pianist create the music, audience members are welcome to sing along, and the show is studded with celebrities. A different celeb becomes the new town sheriff every time, totally unrehearsed. In the past, Gillian Anderson, Martin Freeman, and Adrian Lester have given it a go. This time around, Sir Ian McKellen steps boldly into the chaos, along with a long list of familiar faces from TV, movies and theatre.
The setting is the frontier town of Graveside, USA, a wild place in the grip of gold fever. A tall tale unfolds as hobby horses, stolen treasure, dodgy strangers, and an even dodgier reverend take to the stage.
Jez Bond, Co-writer and Director, was awarded Channel Four's Theatre Director Bursary, also named in GQ magazine's 100 Most Connected Men and the Evening Standard's 100 most influential Londoners list. Mark Cameron, Co-writer, started off as a stand-up comedian before winning a scholarship to drama school. He has turned up on stage and screen in all sorts of roles as well as being a skilled TV and radio voice-over artist and writer of four plays, all with Jez Bond and produced at Park Theatre. This is their fifth collaboration.
Whodunnit tickets are all about the improvisation. It's always hilarious. Every performance is different, so yours will be unique.
