In town for just a few short weeks at The Barbican, Wendy and Peter Pan is perfect for families. This dark and witty retelling of the beloved children's story whisks us away to a newly enchanting Neverland created by Ella Hickson, whose vision of JM Barrie's classic Peter Pan is beautifully directed by Jonathan Munby.

Wendy leaves the safety of the Darling family's nursery to find the answer to her parents' forgotten happiness. Peter Pan, fairy Tink, and Tiger Lily accompany her on her adventures, conquering the diabolical Captain Hook along the way. Thrilling set design meets dazzling sword fights and flying through the air to make this a memorable journey for the whole family, with a happy ending to delight everyone.

RSC Associate Artist Toby Stephens (Oslo, Hamlet) brings Captain Hook to horrid life. Colin Richmond's Set and Costume Design makes the show a visual feast, with stunning Choreography by Lucy Hind. Shuhei Kamimura's Music, Christopher Shutt's Sound Design, Oliver Fenwick's Lighting Design and Taiki Ueda's Video Design bring everything to sparkling life, together with Terry King's Fight Direction. Annelie Powell CDG is the Casting Director in a show originally produced by Bunkamura Theatre in Tokyo and Leeds Playhouse.
