Thelma & Louise takes to the stage at the Young Vic theatre courtesy of Sonia Friedman Productions, Blue Spruce Productions, Ley Line Entertainment, Callie Khouri co-production and Mandy Greenfield, all in association with MGM On Stage. The book is by Callie Khouri, with Music and Lyrics from Grammy winner Neko Case and Direction from Trip Cullman.

(Wicked, Come From Away) decides to ask her best mate Thelma, played by Amy Lennox (Cabaret, Kinky Boots) to join her on a weekend road trip. But a horrible encounter with a dangerous stranger in a dodgy roadside bar changes their innocent adventure into something a lot darker, transforming their lifelong friendship into a lethal game where the cards are stacked against them all the way.

The movie came out 35 years ago. Now the Oscar and Golden Globe-winning film is a legend, an iconic classic loved by millions. Writer Callie Khouri has reimagined the story as an electrifying new musical billed as wild, hilarious and heartbreaking. The result is a powerful emotional experience you won't forget.

Choreographers Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber join Scenographers Christine Jones and Brett J. Banakis, Costume Designer Ryan Dawson Laight, Lighting Designer Natasha Chivers, Sound Designer Gareth Owen and Musical Supervisor Kimberly Grigsby in an exceptional creative team. The Orchestrator and Arranger is John Clancy, the Musical Director is Ed Bussey, and there's Additional Music from Carl Newman, Paul Rigby and Zoe Sarnak. The Casting Director is Stuart Burt CDG. The Wigs, Hair and Make-Up Designer Carole Hancock, Fight Director Kev McCurdy, Intimacy Director Yarit Dor and Voice and Dialect Coach Danièle Lydon add to the magic.
