The Unbelievers description

The world premiere of Nick Payne's new drama stars stage and screen star Nicola Walker.

A teenager disappears, time breaks. Playwright Nick Payne (Constellations, We Live in Time) has created a new play, The Unbelievers, directed by the multi-award-winning Marianne Elliott (War Horse, Company, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Angels in America), and staged at the Royal Court Theatre.

Nicola Walker (Unforgotten, The Split) stars in a powerful examination of what it's like to be a mum, exploring themes of faith, family, and the things we do for the people we can't forget. The plot centres on a teenaged boy who disappears and a mother who refuses to give up hope. The set design is by Bunny Christie (Company, People Places and Things), in a co-production with Playful Productions.

Book tickets for The Unbelievers to experience raw loss, hope and sheer determination through the eyes of a mother.
