We meet teenaged Daniel LaRusso, whose mum has just moved from New Jersey to LA. At his new school he becomes the target for a gang of bullies from the Cobra Kai dojo. Then Daniel makes friends with Mr. Miyagi, a quiet handyman who is actually a master of martial arts. Mr. Miyagi agrees to teach Daniel karate to defend himself and grow as a human being. Daniel quickly finds out that true strength isn't about fighting, it's all about a person's character. His life ultimately falls into place as he begins to understand the dignity, respect and determination behind karate.
There's an award-winning creative team behind this uber-cool production, which is tipped as packed with 'cinematic energy and emotional depth'. Brilliant fight choreography adds even more spirit to a classic story, reimagined on stage for a new generation.
