You'll meet Cinderella, whose home is right on the edge of an enchanted forest where the wild creatures she loves live. Once upon a time, she laughed, sang and looked after the garden with her mum. Now all she has is a sharp-tongued stepmother, two loud stepsisters, a house full of chores, and the shadows of the past. When a letter arrives inviting everyone to a wonderful Garden Ball, Cinderella sets off on a journey to find her true self. With her mum's spirit guiding her and the magic forest on her side, the adventure begins.

A narrator helps young children follow the story, a charming touch, and there's a shortened, recorded version of Prokofiev's score to gently introduce them to classical music. This new production by English National Ballet makes the ideal introduction to the genre whatever age your children are, a memorable family experience with a difference.
