Murder, She Didn't Write description
Come see Murder, She Didn't Write and let your inner detective loose!
Lovers of classic murder mysteries will adore Murder, She Didn't Write, a comic masterpiece that's been kicking around for years, quickly selling out and delighting Edinburgh Festival fringe audiences. This is the show's West End debut.
Fresh from a UK tour, the Degree of Errors team creates a brand new whodunnit murder mystery on the spot every night at the Duchess Theatre, directed by actor and director Lizzy Skrzypiec. Think Agatha Christie murder mysteries, and you get the picture. Expect a fast-paced, breathtakingly entertaining interactive experience that has audiences laughing out loud, skilfully improvised using suggestions from the audience. The show might have been touring the country, around for ages, but no two plots are alike. It's no surprise some people come back to see it again and again.
Opening with 'Agatha Crusty, the best detective in zones one to six' – which perfectly sets the comedy stage – all the mayhem and magic is created by Degrees of Error, with brilliant piano accompaniment from Dylan Townley. The Set Design is by Justin Williams and the Costume Design by Lu Herbert, with Lighting Design by Adam King and Musical Direction by Sara Garrard.
Degrees of Error dates back to 2010, now the resident troupe at The Bristol Improv Theatre. They also teach and mentor new troupes in Bristol. The rotating cast, which varies from show to show, stars Caitlin Campbell, Peter Baker, Stephen Clements, Douglas Walker, Harry Allmark, Rosalind Beeson, Sylvia Bishop, Emily Brady, Rachael Procter-Lane, Peta Maurice, and Lizzy Skrzypiec herself. The show is produced by Wildpark Entertainment, Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Fiery Dragons.
