The Jungle Book is adapted by Anupama Chandrasekhar from Rudyard Kipling's magical stories.

Welcome to the mangrove swamps of the Sundarbans, deep in the vast delta of India's River Ganges, where wolves howl, birds soar and tigers roar. This is where the human child Mowgli lives, and it's a magical place to grow up, but it's also lethally dangerous. Mowgli is determined to protect the animal friends who are his only family - but first he has to figure out who he really is and where he actually belongs.

Brilliantly reimagined by Anupama Chandrasekhar (The Father and the Assassin) and directed by Indhu Rubasingham, the show is rich in amazing puppetry created by Lume's Finn Caldwell and Nick Barnes, bringing the characters to vibrant life. A gorgeous family drama worthy of its prestigious Olivier Theatre venue, it is bound to be a hit.

With themes of family, courage, and the conflict between nature and nurture at the heart of the story, you'll meet Baloo, Bagheera, Shere Khan and the rest for an unforgettable jungle adventure. Hiran Abeysekera plays Mowgli, along with a large cast including Sarah Amankwah, Darcy Braimoh, Sebastian Charles, Laura Cubitt, Fred Davis, Ayesha Dharker, Ali Goldsmith, Romina Hytten, Tony Jayawardena, Avye Leventis, Kel Matsena, Sifiso Mazibuko and Jordan Metcalfe.

Set and Costume Designer Rajha Shakiry joins Movement Director Finn Caldwell, Composer Fernando Velázquez, Lighting Designer Oliver Fenwick, Sound Designer Benjamin Grant and Voice Coach Cathleen McCarron to form the creative team, with Casting Directors Bryony Jarvis-Taylor CDG and Martin Poile CDG.
