I'm Every Woman the Musical description

I'm Every Woman tells the remarkable story of the superstar soul diva Chaka Khan.

Fame doesn't always come easy... but in Chaka Khan's world, it was worth the fight. During her career, she won ten Grammy Awards, hit the US Billboard charts 25 times, released 22 studio albums and sold more than 70 million records worldwide, delighting generation after generation. I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical reveals all on stage, complete with vivid choreography and oodles of gorgeous soul classics.

The show is the brainchild of the team that created Thriller Live, telling the artist's story through her music, taking in her life, times, and rise to international fame. Chaka's work with the Black Panthers, her battles with addiction, and the challenges she faced as a black woman in the music industry all come into play with themes of resilience, overcoming the odds, and an all-powerful passion for music.

A world premiere West End musical featuring chart-topping giants like Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Robert Palmer, it's also stacked with Chaka’s most memorable hits, including I Feel For You, Ain’t Nobody, Tell Me Something Good, Never Miss The Water, Like Sugar, and many more. You'll leave the venue feeling exhilarated and inspired.

Direction by Racky Plews (Footloose), a book by Nia T. Hill and choreography by Jade Hackett make this extraordinary story special, as does casting by Debbie O’Brien. The production is by Adrian Grant in association with Chaka Khan, along with the co-producer Willette Murphy Klausner.

I'm Every Woman tickets honour Chaka Khan's incredible life, legacy, and legendary voice as she redefined soul, funk, and R&B through the decades. It's a blast!
