Love Dolly? You're not alone. Everyone adores Dolly Parton's positivity, kindness, good cheer, love of life... and of course her stunning music. She's an example to us all. This is your chance to see the new Dolly Parton musical, Here You Come Again, due in the West End following an extensive tour of the UK.
The tour dates have been announced for the Leeds Playhouse premiere. After the subsequent tour, there's going to be a West End transfer. So what can you expect once the show lands in the capital?
What's the story behind Dolly Parton Musical - Here You Come Again?
The US production was written by the two-time Emmy award-winning comedy writer and songwriter Bruce Vilanch, in collaboration with Gabriel Barre - who also directed the US version - and the talented Tricia Paoluccio who played the role of Dolly. As you can imagine it's jammed full of delicious Dolly songs, all the best-loved tunes rolled out in a glorious river of gorgeousness as the plot unfolds.
Here You Come Again has been adapted for UK audiences by the brilliant British playwright Jonathan Harvey, who gave us Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and Coronation Street. It's a co-production with Simon Friend Entertainment and it's on stage in Leeds from 11th May to 8th June 2024. The musical's West End dates, plans, cast and creative team will be announced nearer the time.
