The show is set in 1970s Miami, tracking the true story of the life and times of Harry Wayne Casey, KC himself, a talented musician and the founder of the band. An inspiring exploration of friendship and the love of music, it whisks us through the romance, glittering nightclubs, beaches and record shops of 1970s Miami.

The musical comes from the pen of J.F. Lawton, who gave us Pretty Woman: The Musical and Under Siege. The intimate involvement of KC himself makes it even more special. He collaborated closely with Lawton, whose choreography and direction projects include Bombay Dreams, Spamalot, and the 2010 Winter Olympics. Expect twenty beloved tunes from a band that sold more than 100 million records globally, scored five number ones in the USA's Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, four UK Top Tens and a Grammy Award for the Saturday Night Fever movie soundtrack.

Get Down Tonight: The KC and the Sunshine Band Musical scored a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, originally called Who Do Ya Love. This magical musical reworking is presented by ATG Productions, Gavin Kalin Productions, Casey, CTK Enterprises and LPO.
