Hilarious queer comedy Four Play hits the King's Head Theatre this summer.

Four Play is a wickedly provocative queer comedy exploring the unsaid rules behind relationships and the knife-edge balance between freedom and love. This revival includes Daniel Bravo, Lewis Cornay, Jo Foster, and Zheng Xi Yong, making up an all-star cast for a spectacle to remember. Written by Jake Brunger, who gave us The Great British Bake Off: The Musical and The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13¾, the fun is directed by Jack Sain (Reverberation).

The story goes like this. Rafe and Pete's relationship looks perfect from the outside. Together for seven years, there's only one problem: neither of them has ever slept with anyone else. They decide to do something about it, choosing their attractive mutual friend Michael to help. But he's totally unprepared for the emotional mess the decision creates, as is his unsuspecting other half Andy. As it turns out, this isn't just a simple experiment to solve a seven year itch, it's a complex mess of betrayal and desire.

Daniel Bravo (Mean Girls) plays Michael, with Lewis Cornay (The Spongebob Musical) as Rafe, Jo Foster (Why Am I So Single?) as Andy, and Zheng Xi Yong (Your Lie in April) as Pete. Jack Gibson is the cover. The original music is written by Benedict Cork. The set and costume designer is Peiyao Wang, joined by movement director Charlie Martin, lighting designer Daniel Carter-Brennan, sound designer Julian Starr, and casting director Nicholas Hockaday, with Production Management from Jack Boissieux for JBPM.
