We'll leave it to Christina Aguilera, star of the hit movie and Burlesque The Musical's Executive Producer, to tell you what's what. In her words, “Burlesque was my first feature film — and creating the role of Ali along with co-writing the music was a part of my career that I will always cherish. I am so happy to be reunited with Steven, this time behind-the-scenes as an Executive Producer and contributing songwriter for our new stage version. Recreating Burlesque as a live theatre experience is something I always hoped would happen, and here we are!”

The plot? You'll meet young Ali, who is in New York City to find her mother. Enticed into a colourful underground world where the rhythm and dance change her forever, will Ali discover her true self amongst the fantastic people she meets? Is this where she truly belongs?

The creative team includes Steven Antin the Book Writer/Producer, with Music and Lyrics by Christina Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Todrick Hall and Jess Folley. There's additional material by Kate Wetherhead. Burlesque the Musical will be staged in the brand new Marble Arch theatre venue in London, offering 550 seats, a massive 17m wide stage, state-of-the-art facilities and a sustainable structure designed by Reed Watts Architects.
