Beautiful Little Fool stars David Hunter, Hannah Corneau and Lauren Ward.
It's always a treat having a brand new West End Musical to discover, even better when it's a world premiere. Beautiful Little Fool is inspired by the lives of US author F. Scott Fitzgerald (The Great Gatsby) and his wife Zelda, seen through the eyes of their daughter Scottie. As she reveals their turbulent relationship and creative legacy, they gradually come back to life.
Several members of theatre royalty are on board to make it even more special. Broadway's Hannah Corneau (Wicked, Frozen) stars as Zelda, with Olivier nominee Lauren Ward (Matilda, Dear Evan Hansen, Stranger Things: The First Shadow) as Scottie and David Hunter (13 Going on 30 The Musical, Waitress, Kinky Boots, The Time Traveller's Wife) as the author himself, the perfect combination for this dazzling new production. David Austin-Barnes and Amy Parker are Ensemble, also standing in for the main characters, and Jasmine Hackett is Swing.
There's Music and lyrics by Hannah Corneau and a book by Mona Mansour. The show is directed by Michael Greif (Rent, Next to Normal, Dear Evan Hansen), with orchestrations from Adam Rothenberg and musical direction by Jerome van den Berghe. There's Set design by Shankho Chaudhuri, Lighting design from Ben Stanton, and Sound Design by Domnic Bilkey.
