Alice in Wonderland description

It's time to lose yourself in Lewis Carroll's weirdly wonderful Alice in Wonderland.

This is the UK debut of a smash hit production telling a story that's extremely peculiar... in the best possible way! The eccentric characters, the gorgeous costumes, the extraordinary plot, the shrinking and the growing, it's all on stage at the capital's Riverside Studios, designed to delight the whole family. Come see Alice in Wonderland, fall down the famous rabbit hole and enter a fantastical world where up and down are the wrong way round and nonsense is the name of the game.

Billed as a 'delightfully imaginative' retelling of the author's beloved tale, the enchanting puppetry alone makes this a remarkable theatre experience. The original score and vivid sets add to the excitement, immersing you in a fantasy dreamed up while Carroll was rowing with friends on a river, on a damp summer's day back in 1862. He began drafting it the next day, and the rest is history.

The cast for this critically acclaimed production, which has already wowed audiences in Australia, includes Charlotte Bradley as Alice, Eddie Ahrens as the Cheshire Cat, and Clare Brice as the White Rabbit. The Hatter is played by Honey Gabriel, Tweedle Dee by Skye Hallam and Tweedle Dum by Sophie Wilkinson. The Hare is Elliot Liburd and the Queen of Hearts is Daniel Page.

The Director and Designer is Nate Bertone. The Writer is Penny Farrow, writing in the style of Lewis Carroll. We have Jack Weir the Lighting Designer, Ella Wahlström the Sound Designer, and Nick Hockaday the Casting Director on board. Chris Barlow and Nate Bertone created the Puppetry Designs and Eva Sampson is the Associate Director. The producers are DEM Productions, Ethan Walker, and Nate Bertone.

Everyone who fancies a fabulous family adventure will love Alice in Wonderland tickets, your entry pass to a tall tale that has captivated readers, theatre audiences, TV fans and movie lovers for more than 160 years.
