A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad) description
A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad) is a cabaret musical about depression and how it is OK to not be OK.
Sally is a happy person. She does not let little things get her down and almost never cries. But she has an illness. It makes her feel like she is not the person she wants to be, and she does not want anyone to know about it.
The musical is written by Olivier Award winner Jon Brittain (Kathy & Stella Solve a Murder!, Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho) with music by Matthew Floyd Jones of Frisky and Mannish. It is directed by Alex Mitchell and produced by Silent Uproar.
It plays as part of the SHEDINBURGH Festival at the Young Vic, in a special stripped-back version reimagined for the festival.
Book now for a funny, frank hour about depression that refuses to be miserable about it.
