La Petite Soiree description

The La Soirée group have been astonishing audiences with outrageous, salacious cabaret-style acts for the last eight years, winning an Olivier Award for Best Entertainment during their time at the London Wonderground Spiegeltent in 2015. Now they’re back for another winter season in the West End’s Aldwych Theatre and they’re bringing a family-friendly alternative!

Presented by the same exceptional individuals that produced the original (Brett Haylock, Mark Rubenstein and Mick Perrin), La Petite Soirée promises all the fun and frolics of its older adult production, but is suitable for all the family. Gone are the saucy and slightly twisted acts that delight grown-ups – instead we have an equally unforgettable afternoon out at the theatre, with incredible tricks and magnificent performers that can wow both children and adults alike.

The show is suitable for all ages – from 8 to 80 – which means it’s the perfect winter weekend antidote to those cold, frosty days and long, chilly nights. Or perhaps the ideal way to cap off a visit to the capital with family and friends and celebrate the Christmas season. With a line-up of new faces, La Petite Soirée is a completely new show that will dazzle and delight a whole new audience. And just like the original, it will leave you desperate to come back time and time again.

La Petite Soirée plays at the central London Aldwych Theatre, the perfect location to top off a magical day out, on Saturday afternoons from 25 November 2017 until 3 February 2018 – it’s the first time this motley crew will be seen in the West End. The show may be less outrageous to appeal to all ages, but it is no less daring and promises to leave the whole family crying out for more. Both productions kick off a new season for the Aldwych Theatre, after its recent closure for renovations following the resounding success of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

The line-up will be subject to change, but if the choice of performers is anything like as astounding as La Soirée, then La Petite Soirée is guaranteed to be a memorable experience for all. From comedian and juggler extraordinaire Marcus Monroe; the heart-breaking vocals of Puddles Pity Party; to the roller skating, hoola hooping, cheeky clown Marawa The Amazing, the La Soirée team have put together a world-class ensemble of cabaret performers to pick from.

Prepare to be captivated by the irresistible La Petite Soirée as the team revel in their posh, new surroundings, brimming with glee at the thought of delighting a brand-new audience and capping off an incredible year with some true Christmas flair. If you want a way to top this year’s festivities with a bang, book your tickets now!
