Midnight Tango description

Midnight Tango – Thrilling, skilful, stunning and dramatic

It’s vivid and vibrant, dramatic and stylish, a feast of foot-tapping tunes that dives right into the heart of the captivating and colourful Latin beat. It’s Midnight Tango and it’s sizzling hot theatrical property, due to cause a huge stir in London’s glittering West End.

TV’s dance classics So You Think You Can Dance and the BBC’s smash hit Strictly Come dancing have nothing on this stage show, where you’re so close to the action it feels like you’re on stage yourself, creating a romantic stir and making hearts beat faster to the exotic soundtrack.

Expect stunning sets, beautiful costumes and enough dance talent to knock your socks off, and you won’t be disappointed!

The show’s creators are Vincent and Flavia, the popular household name dance champions who enjoyed starring roles in Strictly Come Dancing. They’re joined by the respected expert TV dance judge Arlene Phillips from So You Think You Can Dance. Together they’ve created an unforgettable show set in hot, sultry Buenos Aires, Argentina, in a sophisticated bar run by a loving husband and wife team.

The music takes in everything from classic Ballroom to hot Latin extravaganzas, telling a tale of love and romance that’s lightened with a series of comedy moments that make the show extra-special.

The story? The stars of the show, Pablo and Sofia, are perfectly happy until a dark stranger unexpectedly threatens their relationship. The couple take the stage in considerable dramatic style, supported by ten of the best Tango dancers on earth, and together they weave a compelling tale of jealousy, joy and passion...
