Joanna Lumley, Viva Forever!, The Curious Incident, The Full Monty, Merrily We Roll Along

Joanna Lumley to star in two short plays
Ab Fab star and West End matriarch Joanna Lumley will join Irish film, television and stage actor Andrew Scott, in two short plays by Harold Pinter as part of Jamie Lloyd’s Trafalgar Transformed season. The special event will see Lumley star in three performances of Family Voices, as well as three performances of Victoria Station at the Trafalgar Studios – on the set of current production The Hothouse between 27-29 June.

Hot Off The Press! Wicked, Billy Elliot, Thriller Live

Fans of Wicked, the hit West End musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, are all abuzz with the news that Harriet Thorpe has returned to her role as Madame Morrible. Thorpe previously played the part to enormous acclaim in a two-year stint from April 2008 to March 2010. She will reprise her role of Madame Morrible, the headmistress of the magical Shiz University (the school for budding witches and wizards) until 16 November 2013.

Gavin and Stacey: The Musical

Ruth Jones Ruth Jones (co-writer and star of Gavin and Stacey) has spoken out to the Evening Standard about the possibility of Gavin and Stacey: The Musical in the near future.

Jones and co-star and co-writer James Corden have reportedly had another Christmas special of the romantic Welsh comedy scrapped by the BBC, are keen to keep it alive on the West End stage.

Rumours of a new musical version of THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS

Julian Fellowes Rumours in Theatre Land are that there is a new musical version of The Wind In The Willows on the horizon.

Stiles and Drewe (the musical talent behind Honk and Betty Blue Eyes) are teaming up with Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park and Downton Abbey) to rewrite Kenneth Grahame's much loved story.

New Cast For GHOST - THE MUSICAL

Ghost The Musical Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans will join the cast of Ghost the Musical from 13th January 2011, taking over from Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy, who will star in the Broadway transfer.

Ghost is adapted from the hit 1990 film starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore as Sam and Molly. It is a timeless fantasy about the power of love. Sam is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next trying to communicate with his girlfriend Molly through a phoney psychic in the hope of saving her from his murderer.
