Joining Robert Lindsay (Henry II) and Joanna Lumley (Eleanor of Aquitane) in Trevor Nunn’s production of James Goldman’s The Lion in Winter are Tom Bateman (Richard), Sonya Cassidy (Alais), Joseph Drake (John), Rory Fleck-Byrne (Philip) and James Norton (Geoffrey). The Lion in Winter, produced by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company, runs from 5 November 2011 – 28 January 2012, with press night on 15 November 2011. Set and costume designs are by Stephen Brimson Lewis with music by Steven Edis, sound by Paul Groothuis and video design by Ian William Galloway.

It has been confirmed that James Goodman's The Lion in Winter, will open in November at The Haymarket Theatre Royal under the direction of Trevor Nunn. Casting of the lead roles of Henry II and estranged wife Eleanor of Aquitaine has been announced as British favourites Robert Lindsey and Joanna Lumley.

Respect La Diva, conceived and directed by Adrian Grant, the creator of hit international show Thriller Live, will arrive at the Garrick Theatre for a strictly limited run from 7 September until 24 September, with press night on 8 September.
Celebrating the greatest hits of five decades of Divas from Beyoncé to Bassey, Respect La Diva is an uplifting musical celebration paying tribute to some of the greatest female singers of all time. Hosted by X-Factor finalist Andy Abraham and headlined by singers Sheila Ferguson (The Three Degrees), Denise Pearson (Five Star), Katy Setterfield (The One & Only) and Zoe Birkett (West End/Pop Idol), alongside a cast of West End singers, dancers and a live band, Respect La Diva showcases songs by iconic Divas including Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Etta James, Shirley Bassey, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Dusty Springfield and many more.

July saw the announcement that British Hollywood actress Thandie Newton is set to make her West End debut this autumn, starring in Death and the Maiden.
The 38 year old BAFTA winner has featured in a number of high profile motion pictures from The Academy awarding winning 'Crash' and appearing opposite Will Smith in 'The Pursuit of Happiness', to 'Mission Impossible II' and British comedy 'Run Fatboy, Run'. As such her theatrical debut is hotly anticipated.
