After a phenomenally successful run in 2011, Casualty's Rebecca Wheatley is hitting the road again in 2012 with her tremendous one-woman show, the tour-de-force that is Big Pants & Botox. The tour opens with a run at the Arts Theatre in London's West End, beginning Thursday 9 February.
Written by Girls Night author Louise Roche, the show has been thrilling its audiences up and down the country since June.
Big Pants & Botox is a tremendous blend of powerful writing and acting, as it leads the audience onto the emotional rollercoaster that is Barbra's 50th birthday celebration. As so often with Roche's writing the blend of humour and poignancy is to the forefront, as Barbra lets us into her big secret.
So if you have to empty your bladder before joining the kids on the trampoline, if you know a prolapse has nothing to do with structural engineering, and that the word 'piles' does not have to be followed by the word 'of', then you'll be amused, delighted and even comforted by Louise Roche's new play.
